Problem!
Dear angels,
Dee and I have been franctically busy organising the Rounders Match and BBQ and have forgotten the two most important things.
1.) We don't have enough BBQ's to feed 30+ people
2.) We don't have any Rounders Post, bats and ball
Please can we put out a request for anyone with rounders sets to get in contact with us, or with an easy to transport BBQ.
Finally the other detail we are now pondering over, as we have already estabilished the rules is how do we keep the beer warm if it is a warm sunny evening. We are open to suggestions.
Please help us with our quest for enlightenment

'how do we keep the beer warm'? Most people will prefer it cold!

Bring some blankets to keep the beer warm, or keep it warm on the BBQ (if you have one)!

Who would have thought that rounder's equipment is required for a rounder's match? Must have been a real surprise to the organisers!

How about buckets full of ice and water, and then we can have a wet tshirt competition after!!

Dear Nicky
I suggest you read your letters before sending them to avoid embarrassing situations like this and dragging down poor Dee with you. I'm sure that Dee will sort everything out. She seems the brighter of the two!!

Ladies, please - what is going on here?
Warm beer, rounders with no bats, meat with no BBQ...
I doubt you ever made the girl guides!

Tip: if there's enough COLD beer most people won't notice the lack of rounders equipment or food....

Gurt,
Its all in hand hopefully. We now have two BBQ's so one more would be perfect. We have one bat!

If you need cold beer, which we do, contact David Cartwright to get hold of his mammoth, steady now, cooler box. People who attended the Llandaff Regatta were impressed with its size, particularly the men’s captain.

Looks like we'll have to play in the marquees for the flower show, it might be a damp evening.
